Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a Principal Clinical/Counselling Psychologist for a permanent 8b (0.8wte) position within the Mental Health Services for Older People (MHSOP) inpatient service in Leicester. The role involves providing specialized psychological services to older adults with functional and potentially organic mental health issues, such as dementia. Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, delivering interventions, offering advice to non-psychologist colleagues, and supervising less senior psychologists. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to service development under the guidance of the Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
