NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. An exciting part time 18.5 hour opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist in the Adult Gender a service at Sandyford has arisen.
The post holder may be required to provide clinical psychology input across the service area offering leadership and service development to this continually developing service. The Sandyford Gender Service provides assessments and treatments for Adults questioning their gender and who require assessment and support.
The Gender Service is a multi-disciplinary team, and the service is tasked with assessing, offering interventions and assisting service users in finding the best solutions to their current presentations. The Sandyford Gender Service is the largest service of its kind in Scotland, receiving referrals from across the West of Scotland.
