Job Summary We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team working with adults who have a learning disability and live in the community in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will have opportunities to develop skills in positive behaviour support, learning disability assessments and assessing and understanding mental health needs within this specialist team. Main duties of the job The posts are to work into the Positive Behavioural Support and the Mental Health pathways. The post holder will work with an experienced and highly motivated clinical team, offering supervised assessments and clinical interventions within a Positive Behavioural Support model. You will receive regular supervision with a qualified psychologist within the service. There will be opportunities to contribute to service evaluation and service developments and opportunities to work with colleagues in other pathways to meet the needs of the clients we support. We have links with the Clinical Psychology course at Newcastle University, providing teaching and placements to trainees. This post will be based at Benton House, Newcastle.
