The post will be for a senior clinician (ST6/7 or post CCT) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, primarily working within the Department. The post-holder will get an excellent opportunity to improve their surgical skills in Gynaecology. They will gain experience in managing urogynaecology and urodynamics patients by participating in multidisciplinary meetings and managing urogynaecology patients on the ward and in outpatients.

The post-holder will participate in the resident on-call rota for Senior Registrars (ST6/7) in both Obstetrics and gynaecology, when they will be expected to do Obstetrics at a senior level (third-on call). Occasionally, they will be requested to work in other clinical areas of the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department to provide senior registrar cover. Clinical fellows will be expected to provide active senior medical input into the management of pre-operative/post-operative patients and Gynaecological emergencies.
