As a Residential Worker, you’ll provide essential care and support to young residents, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting a nurturing environment. We’re looking for candidates who are empathetic, adaptable, and able to manage challenging situations with grace.

To thrive in this role, you'll need a strong understanding of residential childcare and the motivation to work autonomously. Clear communication with both young people and adults is crucial, and you’ll be expected to document case notes and represent the department when needed. Ideally, you’ll hold a SVQ Level 3 in Care and an HNC in Social Care, or have equivalent qualifications in social policy, sociology, or psychology. We welcome applicants who can commit to shift work and are ready to register with the SSSC within six months. Plus, if you’re joining us for night shifts, you’ll enjoy a third enhancement for those unsociable hours. Ready to take the next step in your care career? Apply today!
