Our new service is for 4 people requiring a wide range of support from emotional support, learning new coping mechanisms, and being able to express their true selves.

You will need to be adaptable, flexible, mature and be able to support our people to gain back their independence through empowerment, active support, positive risk-taking and out of the box thinking. It's important to note that some people being supported may self-harm, have anxiety or on occasion show behaviours of concern.
At present all the people we support have several hours of 1:1 support during the day as well as some shared support day and night. The ideal people will have a passion for working with people with enduring mental health, a keen interest in the psychology behind complex behaviours that challenge and the willingness to learn and practice Positive Behaviour Support
Active Prospects is recruiting for Day and Night Support Worker(s) to join our complex care service in Brighton, East Sussex.
Our new Brighton service is close to public transport, with a short walk from the bus stop/train station to the service. Drivers are always welcome - there is free onsite parking available.
In return for your dedicated service you can expect a competitive rate of pay of £12.per hour with additional pay on some of the Bank holidays, enhanced pay when you leave to have a baby (maternal, paternal or adoption), Employee Assistance programme with various aspects of free legal support and counselling, support with gaining further qualifications in Social Care (levels 3 and 5), career progression opportunities which have seen 80% of our management progress into their current roles since they’ve started with us as Support Workers, financial awards for successful recruitment referrals and most importantly inclusive, friendly and supportive environment for you to grow and thrive in.
