The West London NHS Trust is seeking a Specialist Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join their team in Greenford during a maternity leave vacancy. The role involves conducting neuro-psychological assessments, contributing to dementia diagnoses, and offering a range of therapeutic options, including therapy for individuals with dementia and their caregivers. The psychologist will also support patients with co-existing mental health issues, provide expertise in challenging behaviors, and consult within a multidisciplinary team to enhance psychological practice.

The position is based in the culturally diverse borough of Hounslow, with a focus on ensuring accessible psychological services for the community. The psychologist will supervise an Assistant Psychologist and have opportunities to participate in research projects within the all-age Cognitive Impairment and Dementia Service (CIDS) and the Specialist Older Adult Mental Health Service (SOAMHS).
