The Welsh Blood Service is seeking a full-time Clinic Collection Assistant for its Talbot Green location. This role involves welcoming and assisting blood donors throughout the donation process, which includes testing their eligibility to give blood, performing venepuncture, maintaining accurate records, and providing basic clinical advice and aftercare. The successful candidate will work within a multi-skilled team to ensure a positive experience for donors, adhere to clinical and quality standards, and operate mobile donation equipment. While no medical background is required, candidates must have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable with the sight of blood.

Candidates should possess a good standard of education, experience working with the public, and skills in communication and teamwork. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable. The position offers varied working hours, including weekends and Bank Holidays, and a salary range of £24,433 to £26,060 per annum.
