The role of All Age Continuing Care Assurance Manager within NHS England's North East and Yorkshire All Age Continuing Care Team involves driving transformation and ensuring value for money in the planning, commissioning, and delivery of services by Integrated Care Boards (ICBs). The position requires deep expertise in NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and related policies, enabling the post holder to effectively communicate and collaborate at a high level. The overarching goal of the organisation is to improve service quality, enhance health outcomes, and reduce health inequalities across the region while supporting a positive work environment and fostering the necessary skills and innovation among the healthcare workforce.
Candidates will need to commit to spending a minimum of 40% of their time working in person, and those from outside the NHS may require sponsorship, contingent upon meeting specific salary thresholds. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the NHS England North East and Yorkshire All Age Continuing Care Team. The role supports NHS England in driving transformation as well as ensuring value for money in planning, commissioning and service delivery by ICBs. The role is designed to build a combination of subject matter expertise, and technical skills to develop a strong service delivery.
The post holder will be an expert in NHS CHC and associated policies and will be able to communicate clearly and knowledgeably at a high level.
