Youth Worker - Full Time
Social Care Connections is looking for an exceptional Youth Worker to join our fast growing team to fulfil an exciting opportunity with an innovative Local Authority. Youth Worker Responsibilities
As part of a multi-agency approach to harm outside the home and transitional safeguarding a primary aim of the exploitation integrated detached team is to create greater safety and support for young people in the community.
Through establishing positive relationships with young people, the exploitation integrated detached team will develop an understanding of the needs, aspirations, interests and worries of young people with a focus on supporting young people to access services which can help to meet these needs as part of a reaching out to bring back approach. Also, working in partnership with other services for young people where appropriate to take out specific services and information to young people not accessing those services to help reduce harm.

- To promote and develop the active involvement of young people in the design and evaluation of services and ensure young people have voice and influence, actively seek their views support their decision making.
- Ability to develop and use innovative youth work approaches that meets the needs of vulnerable young people.
- Ability to raise young peoples aspirations and selfexpectation and promote the positive image of young people
- Right to work in the UK
