Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing).
- Support mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Administer medication and manage health care routines as prescribed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Engage in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being and social interaction.
- Monitor and document changes in health and behaviour reporting to healthcare professionals as necessary.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life.
- Previous experience in live-in care or caregiving, especially for individuals with MS or similar conditions.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ in Health and Social Care, first aid training) are preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Live-in position with private accommodations provided.
- Flexibility in working hours; ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
