The Clinical Trials Assistant (CTA) role at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust involves supporting the delivery of clinical research and managing a range of research studies within the NHS environment. The post holder will assist in all aspects of clinical trial operations, from study setup to data archiving, working in compliance with clinical trial protocols and regulatory standards. Duties include document submission to the Clinical Research and Innovation Office (CRIO), data collection and maintenance, providing administrative support to research staff, conducting clinical tests, and facilitating participant screening and recruitment.

This position is a fixed-term contract, lasting up to twelve months due to maternity leave, and offers opportunities for professional development in a supportive and respected environment. The CTA Team collaborates across various sites and is instrumental in conducting studies under the NIHR Sheffield Biomedical Research Centre and Clinical Research Facility.
