Job Summary: Health Care Assistant - Mental Health for Older People (MHSOP)
Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking experienced Health Care Assistants to join their Mental Health Service for Older People at the Leicester General Hospital's Evington Centre. The position involves supporting patients over the age of 65, primarily with Dementia and other mental health issues like Anxiety, Depression, and Schizophrenia.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively within a nursing team to support patients' recovery of both physical and mental health.
  • Provide care in 12-hour shifts, including day and night duties, with part-time and full-time options available (minimum 23 hours per week).

  • Previous healthcare experience and strong communication skills are essential.
