The University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Leukaemia Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) for a 1-year fixed-term position. The successful candidate will join an eight-member CNS team dedicated to providing care for patients aged 20 and above with various blood disorders, including acute and chronic leukaemia, bone marrow failure, and myeloproliferative neoplasms. The role involves being a key worker on complex treatment pathways, offering patient counseling for new diagnoses or disease progression, assessing treatment suitability, and providing ongoing support during cancer treatment. The CNS will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, conduct clinics, and address patients' psychological needs while also contributing to the training and development of junior nurses.
