NHS Scotland is seeking a dedicated Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker for a full-time position in Ward 32 of Kirkcaldy. The ideal candidate should possess a compassionate nature and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a busy acute ward setting, which caters especially to patients with various medical conditions including diabetes and neurology. Key responsibilities include supporting nursing staff, engaging in effective communication with the multidisciplinary team, and assisting with the transfer and discharge of patients. Candidates should also be working towards an SVQ level 3, be open to ongoing training, and demonstrate competency in clinical skills.

This role requires the flexibility to work 11.5-hour shifts, including day and night patterns. Additional points include a gradual transition to a reduced 37-hour workweek by April 2024, while pay will remain unchanged.
