Alcedo Care are actively looking for Mental Health Support Workers and HCA’s, with a passion for delivering outstanding care preferably with NVQ/Diploma L3 CYP or equivalent.
Shift Patterns: Variable 12 hour shifts (including some weekend work)
Location of work: Warrington & Halton.
We are currently working with adults and children with complex mental health needs in the community, we are very passionate about the work we do offering the opportunity for our clients to achieve positive outcomes.
As a Support Worker you’ll provide a high level of care and support to vulnerable people, enabling them to live the life they choose.
You’ll ideally have Experience of working within the field of Mental Health and/or be willing to undertake full training in supporting and caring for this cohort of clients.
You’ll assist with daily tasks which may include medication assistance, attending appointments, motivating, and encouraging independence, engagement, and participation.
You will receive full training with additional skills being taught to promote and aid client recovery, you will be supported by our RMN’s to play an active role in our internal multi-professional team.
The role can be challenging at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important to join our team as a Mental Health Support Worker.
As you will be supporting our service users in the community, a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle is required.
