The Lead Rapid Diagnostic Service Coordinator at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust will oversee and ensure a high-quality service for patients referred with suspected cancer diagnoses. This role involves liaising with primary care, tumor sites, and other trust colleagues to meet the national 28-day cancer performance target. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care pathways, providing necessary information and support for test preparations, and managing non-specific symptoms service meetings. The post holder will also offer secretarial support to prevent breaches of cancer waiting times and will be responsible for the daily management of the RDS admin officer.
