The role of Pathology Assistant - Specimen Reception at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust involves receiving, sorting, and booking patient specimens from various sources into the laboratory information management system (LIMS). This position is essential for the operation of the Specimen Reception team, which works on a shift basis to ensure coverage every day of the year, particularly during peak periods in the afternoons and evenings.
