Indus Paper Boards Pvt Ltd is seeking a full-time Care Assistant in Leeds to support a teenager in developing independence and social skills. The role involves assisting with activities like using public transport, shopping, and engaging in social interests such as visiting museums and enjoying outings to the cinema and McDonald's. The ideal candidate should be personable, able to recognize signs of distress, and responsive to the unique needs of the individual, particularly in crowded or loud environments.
Candidates for this position should possess essential skills and training in personal care, safeguarding, food hygiene, first aid, and understanding behaviors associated with Autism/Aspergers. A full UK driving license and a personal vehicle are required for transportation support, and candidates should be comfortable with safe medication administration. The position offers a pay rate of £11.44 per hour.

Hi I would like my PA to be able to help me build on my independence skills such as using public transport and going shopping etc, also my social skills and interests.
My interests are trains, animals especially parrots, I love learning and going to museums especially the railway way museum in York, I enjoy going to the cinema and McDonald's.
I need a PA who doesn't mind the fact I.am extremely chatty and who can recognise when when I'm getting disregulated this usually if it's too crowded or too loud a place, the signs are I pick at the skin on my fingers or lips, make a clicking sound or try to run.
