The University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and experienced Patient Safety Improvement Lead to join their Patient Safety Improvement Team. This role is essential for managing and executing safety improvement projects in accordance with the patient safety incident response framework (PSIRF). The ideal candidate should possess strong change management, quality improvement, and project management skills, alongside a solid understanding of clinical patient safety issues. Responsibilities include establishing project management infrastructure, facilitating quality improvement methodologies, leading data analysis and performance monitoring, investigating patient safety incidents, and enhancing communication to promote awareness and collaboration across the healthcare sector.

The Patient Safety Improvement Lead will collaborate closely with internal leaders and external stakeholders to advance safety initiatives within one of the UK's most complex NHS trusts. UCLH is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care while also focusing on sustainability, aiming for net-zero emissions by 2031 for direct emissions and 2040 for indirect emissions.
