Kibble, a specialist provider of services for at-risk children and young people in Scotland, is seeking a "Child and Youth Care Worker (Peripatetic)" to work in Paisley. This role involves directly supporting young individuals who cannot remain at home due to adverse circumstances, following guidance from Children's Hearings or the Court. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to caring for vulnerable children, possess an understanding of developmental trauma, and practice in a trauma-informed manner. Responsibilities include developing individualized care programs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families, ensuring effective communication of social and educational targets, and maintaining accurate reporting and documentation.

Candidates should have relevant qualifications, such as an HNC in Social Care or equivalent, and experience working with children or vulnerable populations is desirable. The position requires flexibility to work varied shifts, including early and late hours, and necessitates the ability to manage challenging behaviors, build trust with young people, and foster positive relationships within the community. Preference will be given to those already eligible for registration with the SSSC and possessing a full driving license.
