Holmes Care Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant in Kirkcaldy, offering a full-time position with 33 weekly hours dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centred care for residents. The role requires a compassionate individual with a relevant Health and Social qualification, specifically an SVQ Level 3, and experience in the care industry. Responsibilities include delivering care, supervising and motivating care assistants, supporting residents in various aspects of their needs, guiding family members, and maintaining effective communication with colleagues and healthcare professionals.

- Providing excellent care and support to residents
- Supervising and motivating all Care Assistants and to function efficiently as a member of the team
- Assisting residents in all aspects of their care needs, e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual
- Providing support and guidance to family members
- Assisting the trained Nurses and Unit Managers to lead and develop staff members
- Engaging in day to day activities and providing companionship to residents
- Maintaining good communication and developing effective working relationships with other team members
- Report on the wellbeing of residents and liaise with GP’s and support Managers
