Zental is seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Lead Dental Nurse to join their modern three-surgery private dental practice in Barnet. The successful candidate will collaborate with a skilled multi-disciplinary team, providing chairside assistance, supervising other dental nurses, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Key responsibilities also include managing staff schedules, mentoring junior nurses, maintaining patient records, and working towards delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive and calm environment.
Applicants should have a GDC registration, a minimum of 7 years of experience in a dental practice, and at least 2 years in a leadership role. The salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to the scope required, unique relevant experience and job related skills. At Zental, cash salary is only one component of our Total Rewards Package. Paid performance incentives are also included for eligible roles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide chairside assistance (min 2 days per week)
- Supervise and lead a team of dental nurses, providing guidance and support
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dental nursing team
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and other relevant regulations
- Manage the dental nursing staff schedule and workflow
- Train and mentor junior dental nurses
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Collaborate with other members of the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and service delivery
- GDC Registration essential
- 7+ years experience in a private / mixed dental practice
- 2+ years experience leading a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Can-do attitude with a focus on providing excellent patient care
- Personable and friendly chair-side manner
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent team support working with numerous specialists and a highly skilled team
