The Healthy Weight Assistant Practitioner role in Caerleon with Aneurin Bevan University Health Board focuses on supporting women to maintain a healthy lifestyle during pregnancy and re-establishing the maternal weight management service. The successful candidate will play a vital part in delivering interventions aimed at promoting healthy eating and physical activity during the antenatal and postnatal periods. Responsibilities include managing client referrals, conducting assessments, delivering group programs like Foodwise in pregnancy, and utilizing behavior change techniques to foster ongoing lifestyle changes postnatally. The position requires flexibility to travel across various sites and work independently while being supervised by a qualified health professional.

Candidates should possess a relevant health-related qualification, such as an advanced apprenticeship or foundation degree, and a nutrition-related qualification to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
