Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an for an enthusiastic & caring individual to join our friendly and supportive Renal Team at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. As a Dialysis Assistant, you will assist in the delivery of high quality patient care and support to patients attending for haemodialysis.
Any experience in Dialysis would be a bonus!

Main duties of the job
The Dialysis Assistants are responsible for the ordering and maintenance of stores on the unit and are expected to work within their own level of competence and assist in the preparation, provision of care and supervision of patients treated by Haemodialysis. You will be supernumerary while you receive full training and complete our renal unit competency training book.
Working for your organisation
The Renal Unit is open 6 days a week from Monday - Saturday including Bank holidays. Staff work 13 hour shifts. The post holder must be able to work flexibly and be able to travel between sites as required. The Unit is opened from 06:00 - 24.00 Monday, Wednesday & Friday with an Early and a Late shift & 07.00 - 20.00 on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday with one shift.
