Indus Paper Boards Pvt Ltd is seeking a female Care Assistant to provide part-time support for a 16-year-old girl with significant learning and physical disabilities in Southport (PR8). The role involves assisting with personal care tasks such as changing clothes, bathing, and administering food and medications via a gastrostomy, as well as supporting overall daily activities. The position requires knowledge of seizure management and safe medication administration, for which training will be provided. The working hours will vary, covering mornings, evenings, weekends, and school holidays.
Candidates must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a personal car. The role emphasises essential skills in personal care, domestic support, and promoting independence while participating in social and leisure activities. Relevant training, including safeguarding and moving and handling techniques, will be provided to ensure comprehensive support for the teenager.
