The Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Special Feeds Unit Assistant to join their Therapy and Dietetics department at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. This permanent role involves preparing around 70 therapeutic feeds daily for infants and children, following specific recipes provided by dietitians. Key responsibilities include accurately weighing ingredients, ensuring hygiene standards, labeling, pasteurizing, and maintaining a clean workspace. The unit operates every day, requiring flexible shift work, including weekends and bank holidays.

Applicants should possess strong communication and teamwork skills, good numeracy and literacy to follow instructions and manage patient data, and a knowledge of hygiene principles.
