The NHS Scotland is seeking a motivated Band 3 Clinical Support Worker to join the Stoma and Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) Team at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh. The role focuses on providing support for surgical patients, particularly those undergoing bowel surgery, such as bowel cancer operations. Key responsibilities include the day-to-day care of stoma patients, assisting them in managing their stoma care, and facilitating quicker recovery as part of the ERAS programme. The position offers a diverse range of tasks in a busy and specialized colorectal unit, making it a valuable opportunity for those interested in surgical patient care.

This is a fixed-term position for one year, involving 34.5 hours per week.
