Career Connect is seeking a passionate Engagement Worker Level 1 to join their community team in Manchester, focusing on providing careers advice and support to 16–18-year-olds who are not currently in education, employment, or training. The role involves engaging with young people and their families through outreach efforts, including home visits and phone calls, with the aim of building meaningful relationships that empower these individuals to explore future opportunities in education, training, or employment.

Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and have some experience in helping others, alongside 5 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications. The position offers a supportive work environment and includes training to facilitate successful integration into the role. The Engagement Worker will also help connect young people to mental health and wellbeing resources as necessary. The base office is located in Moss Side, Manchester, though the role primarily involves community engagement. The salary for the position is £21,912 per annum.
