NHS Scotland is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Social Care Worker to join their Highland Health and Social Care Services team in Wick. The role involves leading shifts, administering medication, and guiding care staff to meet the needs of residents in a care home setting. Candidates should have prior experience in social care, with a preference for those holding an SVQ 3 in Social Care or at least an SVQ 2 accompanied by a commitment to pursue an SVQ 3 within five years. The position promotes a person-centred approach, focusing on maintaining residents' independence and abilities.

This is a permanent part-time position consisting of 22.2 hours per week on a three-week rotating shift pattern, which includes day, back, and night shifts, with additional pay for evening, night, weekend, and public holiday work.
