The Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Junior Sister/Junior Charge Nurse (Band 6) for a 12-month secondment in Ward C29 at Castle Hill Hospital in Cottingham. This role involves providing high-quality holistic nursing care to cancer patients with diverse medical, nursing, and psychological needs. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, act as a role model for the nursing team, and facilitate compassionate end-of-life care. Responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring patient safety, overseeing discharge processes, and improving care standards.

Candidates must have at least two years of experience as a Band 5 nurse in an oncology setting, possess relevant qualifications in oncology/haematology or palliative care, and ideally have some management experience.
