Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Assistant Psychologist (Band 4) to join their Children's Diabetes Team, which supports approximately 100 children and young people aged 0-18 with diabetes. The successful candidate will work closely with a qualified clinical psychologist to deliver psychological services to patients and their families. Responsibilities will include providing direct clinical support, facilitating group sessions, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, and assisting with audits and clinical database management.

Candidates should possess a BPS accredited degree in Psychology and demonstrate a passion for working with children in a healthcare setting. Relevant experience as an assistant psychologist or in a similar role is essential. This position offers flexible working hours within a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to improving diabetes management and overall well-being for children and their families.
