Alcedo Care is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as Children's Care Assistants in Greater Manchester, specifically in Bury and surrounding areas. The role involves providing personal care and support to children and young adults with learning disabilities, assisting them in their homes and the community. Tasks will include helping with activities such as trips to swimming pools, soft play centres, and local parks. Applicants must have experience in a relevant healthcare or educational role, a full UK driving licence, and access to a vehicle.

This role may be perfect for you if you have previous experience as a Learning Disability Support Worker or a Youth Worker with some experience of learning disabilities. Experience as an SEN Classroom Assistant or SEN Teaching Assistant would also be valuable, or you may have personal experience looking after a family member.
