NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking Facilities Assistants - Domestic for various locations including the North, South, West, and Clyde Sectors in Glasgow. The role involves ensuring cleanliness in both clinical and non-clinical areas of hospitals through tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, emptying bins, and replenishing supplies. Positions are part-time, backshift, with some sites requiring catering duties. Enhanced pay rates are available for weekend shifts and specific hours.
Candidates must have the right to work in the UK, provide references from their last three years of employment, and attend an interview at West Glasgow Ambulatory Care Hospital. Successful applicants will undergo a mandatory three-day induction before starting. Backshift Domestics Assistants Across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde
Duties include cleaning all areas of our hospitals clinical and non-clinical locations - activities will include wet mopping, vacuuming, emptying bins, replenishing supplies, cleaning fixtures, and furniture and toilet/bathroom areas.
Permanent, Part time, backshift positions are available and there will be catering duties on some sites, this will be discussed further should you be invited to interview.
Enhanced hourly rates for weekend contracts and before 06:00 and after 20:00 for weekly contracts.
