Indus Paper Boards Pvt Ltd is seeking a male Care Assistant in Tadcaster to provide support to a 34-year-old man named Adam, who has learning disabilities, epilepsy, and autism. The role involves working every Monday from 10 am to 3 pm, assisting Adam with social and leisure activities, such as shopping, dining, and attending the cinema, while ensuring his safety during outings. A full UK driving license and personal car are preferred, as Adam sometimes needs help walking longer distances.

The Care Assistant will aid Adam in maintaining his independence and will benefit from training in First Aid and epilepsy awareness. Care Assistant required (preferably male) every Monday 10am-3pm to support a 34 year old learning disabled young man, Adam, who also suffers with epilepsy and autism. The job will involve taking him out within the local area (Tadcaster/York) shopping, going for coffee, cinema etc. A car owner is preferrable as Adam is at times unsteady and needs assistance to walk long distances.

Adam enjoys listening to Elvis Presley music especially, and playing on his Playstation. He attends a day service 2 days a week in Selby. Adam is a friendly sociable young man who lives in Tadcaster with his mum.
