The University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant to join their microbiology team in Brighton. The primary responsibility of this role is data entry, alongside handling telephone inquiries, maintaining equipment, managing stock, and disposing of laboratory waste. The position does not support IBMS registration portfolios or serve as a pathway to becoming a Biomedical Scientist. The assistant will also engage with patients and staff while adhering to confidentiality and data protection regulations, issue results according to departmental protocols, and participate in meetings as required.
