Role Summary
The Occupational Health Clinic Manager role at MCL is an exciting opportunity in Aberdeen for an experienced and highly organised individual to join our expanding team to support and develop the Occupational Health operational support team. We’re looking for a reliable and motivated professional with excellent interpersonal skills, to deliver hands on Clinic management, supporting the delivery of sustainable operational performance across our client portfolio. The successful applicant will be a self-starter who takes initiative and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment taking accountability for identifying, and boldly influencing and implementing improvements to the service provided from a operational perspective, looking for opportunities to support the success of the organisation.

As part of the MCL Medics team, your key responsibilities include:
- Oversee daily clinic operations to maximise efficiency, effectiveness and service provision including clinic facilities and building management.
- Accountability for the administration, reception, appointment bookings, co-ordination, planning, financial management, evaluation and monitoring of the clinic.
- Provide key operational support during the implementation of new client OH contracts.
- Support the creation and maintenance of efficient operational processes with the ability to review, challenge and introduce new more streamline ways of working.
- Working in partnership with OH Ops Director and Director of Nursing and Clinical Governance do deliver against a robust audit framework to audit all areas of Clinic process.
- Being pro-active in problem solving, finding solutions to obstacles for the benefit of the business. Share lessons learnt and feedback to relevant members of the SLT.
- Work in partnership with the OH Ops Director to ensure compliance with ISO standards 9001, 45001, 230and SEQOHS is maintained.
- Understanding of contractual requirements for each client and ensuring accurate delivery.
- Supporting project and change management activities where required.
- Proven track record of successful leadership in a managerial role.
- Builds and uses networks of influence.
- Understands the need to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for clients and service users.
- Demonstrates openness to learning from others and improving services for the greater good.
- Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Familiar with OH systems.
- Strong communication skills at all levels
- Ability to work in a dynamic, demanding environment, prioritize workloads and manage to tight deadlines.
