Job Summary
The post holder will be part of the Payroll team responsible for accurate and timely processing of pay, expenses and absence data using the ESR System. This will include dealing with complex input and pay related issues. The post holder will also be responsible for providing a help desk support service for employees and managers.
Main duties of the job
An opportunity has arisen to join the payroll team as a full time Payroll Officer. The role is part of the Trust Payroll and Pensions team, which is responsible for providing pay services for 26,000 monthly paid staff and around 1,000 weekly paid staff. In addition, the team provides payroll services to Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust.
Using the Electronic Staff Record system (ESR) and HR systems the payroll team processes all pay related changes for monthly paid staff. The team also provides direct support to staff using ESR and HR Systems.
Experience of using both HR Systems and ESR systems for a minimum of 6 months is a key requirement for this role.
