The B7 Clinical/Counselling Psychologist position, offered part-time (22.5 hours) by the Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, focuses on providing therapeutically-informed assessments and interventions for individuals with dementia residing in care homes. The role entails engaging with various stakeholders, including patients, their families, healthcare professionals, and care home staff, to address challenging behaviors associated with dementia through evidence-based approaches rooted in Positive Behaviour Support. The successful candidate will provide specialist training and supervision, contribute to multidisciplinary teamwork, and undertake audit and service development activities, all aimed at enhancing the quality of care for people with dementia.

Working from the Mid Surrey hub in Epsom, the role requires autonomy in clinical decision-making and a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care.
