We're excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Senior Psychology Professional to join our Urgent Care Pathway in Buckinghamshire.
Based in Aylesbury, you will work within the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT), providing direct interventions such as Assessment, Formulation, and Brief Psychological Therapy, as well as indirect interventions and consultation work.
We welcome applications from those looking to advance into a senior role or those already in senior positions, with opportunities for development and training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Mentalisation-Based Therapy, and leadership skills.
This full-time position offers flexibility in working hours and is office-based for at least four days a week. Part-time expressions of interest are also considered.

- Support national guidance and meet local and nationally agreed standards.
- Utilise approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mentalisation-Based Therapy (MBT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), and third wave therapies, embedding a Trauma Informed care approach.
- Offer psychological assessments, formulations, and therapy interventions for adults with severe and/or complex mental health problems, including support for their families and carers.
- Provide supervision and management support to psychological assistants, and offer consultation and guidance to Urgent Care colleagues, including Reflective Practice and Complex Case Formulation meetings.
- Work with Clinical & Professional Lead, Locality Leads, Team Managers, and the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHTT) to ensure integrated, safe, accessible, responsive, effective, and caring services in Buckinghamshire.
