- Assist nursing staff in basic clinical tasks such as taking and recording vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure).
- Support with wound care and dressing changes under supervision.
- Assist with monitoring fluid intake/output and other observations as directed.
- Monitor patients for any signs of post-operative complications and report concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized ward environment, ensuring equipment is sterilized and stocked.
- Help set up and clear away surgical beds, trolleys, and patient areas.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
