The Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Therapy Assistant to support patients with complex needs under the supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist. Key responsibilities include coordinating activity timetables, conducting autonomous assessments and interventions for patients with routine clinical needs, and leading group activities on the ward, particularly during school holidays. The role also involves attending regular meetings, maintaining proper documentation, and providing support and information to patients and their caregivers.

To support patients with more complex needs with supervision and direction from a qualified Occupational Therapist.
To undertake administrative duties as requested to support the allied health professional services.
To be responsible for the co-ordination and sharing of activity timetables for the ward.
To provide autonomous assessments and interventions, for own designated caseload of patients, who have routine clinical needs that follow agreed pathways of treatment.
Take the lead in designing and implementing individual and group activities to provide structure on the ward, including the therapeutic program for the school holidays.

Ensure effective and defensible documentation to professional and Trust standards
