Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking an Older Adult Psychiatric Liaison Support Worker in Newport, responsible for providing person-centered care and meaningful activities for patients over 65 with mental health diagnoses in a general hospital setting. The successful candidate will work within the Responsive Hospital Support Team across St Woolos Hospital and Nevill Hall Hospital, supporting patients with both functional and organic mental health conditions under the guidance of Band 6 practitioners. The role requires flexibility to move between sites, with working hours typically from 8:00 to 16:00 or 12:00 to 20:00 on weekdays, and 9:00 to 17:00 on weekends.
