Strategic Clinical Networks and their associated Implementation Networks are an essential national vehicle for joint working between key stakeholders including NHS Wales, Welsh Government and the third sector to improve the outcomes and experience for the population of Wales. Integral to this is the need for continuous improvement and transformational change across a range of our services and approaches and the role of the Strategic Clinical Network is to support this at national, regional and local levels.
The role provides an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to help deliver exciting projects of work to support health boards/trusts to improve the delivery of key health services for vascular conditions across Wales.
Working closely with the Network Support Manager and the National Clinical Lead for Vascular conditions, the Project Support Officer will be responsible for a wide range of duties aimed at ensuring the success and effectiveness of the clinical network.
Hybrid working will be supported and agreed on appointment.
Main Duties Include
- Support the maintenance and management of programme plans
- Support the development, implementation, and management of specific project plans
- Ensure the development and management of required documentation
- Take responsibility for the management of defined areas of work
- Support the management of budgets
- Support stakeholder communications and engagement
- Engage and influence clinicians through implementation of current national pathways and standards
- Influence whole system approaches
- Provide an overview of performance information and service priorities
- Produce reports on progress for internal and external use
- Represent the specific work programme team as requested
