NHS Grampian is seeking a Specialty Registrar Locum Appointment in Training (LAT) in Neurosurgery for a full-time position at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary from February 5, 2025, to February 3, 2026, with the possibility of a further six-month extension. The role is intended for individuals at ST4 level or above and will include participation in an on-call rota. The neurosurgery unit, although smaller, offers a comprehensive range of services including skull base surgery, neuro-oncology, and complex spine procedures. The position involves management of a 17-bed inpatient ward and coordination with other services, such as the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital for pediatric neurosurgery.
