The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD) management service, a national centre providing specialized care to children in northern England. This full-time, permanent role involves leading a multidisciplinary team, coordinating the care of children and young people with PCD, and offering specialist advice and support to healthcare professionals, families, and schools. The successful candidate will also oversee patient management plans, facilitate transitions to adult services, and participate in clinical audits and research initiatives.

Candidates should be self-motivated, possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and have relevant nursing experience. Key responsibilities include managing complex patient care, leading team discussions, delivering education, and promoting evidence-based nursing practices. The postholder will also contribute to service development and continue their professional growth through training and collaboration with other national PCD centres. The role is based at Leeds General Infirmary, with a salary range of £46,148 to £52,809 per year.
