Job Summary
Hospital at Home are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Health Care Support Worker to join our newly developing service and friendly multi-disciplinary team.
Hospital at Home is a service alongside virtual wards specialities within Older Persons Services. Our aim is to provide excellent person-centred holistic care to our service users and their families.
Use of a car for transportation is essential. The role involves lone working at times.
This post offers the successful candidate incredible opportunity for career development as the service develops, as well as making an impressive impact on the unique service we provide.
Flexible working will be discussed during the interview.
This is a part time post of 15 hours per week.
This post is being advertised as a Band 3, however applicants that do not meet the required care certificate competencies will initially be employed as a Band 2. Applicants who hold a care certificate accreditation will start in post at Band 3.
Based at: Christchurch Hopital, although traveling is required on a daily basis throughout the BCP locality

Main duties of the job
The role will include implementation of care and on-going assessments of patients whom conditions and treatment can be met within their own home or within the community settings safety to prevent them from remaining within the acute settings when deemed appropriate. This includes venepuncture and cannulation.
