This role requires the post holder to have excellent communication and engagement skills and who can negotiate effectively.
Strong evidence of leading change and staff engagement is required.
Experience in older people's mental health services is essential with experience in community services advantageous. An understanding of the current challenges experienced within older people's mental health services is essential.
The post holder will provide the operational coordination and management for Older Peoples Community Mental Health Services. This will involve working closely with the Associate Director for Mental Health, the integrated Local Care Organisation, commissioners and other stakeholders.
The post holder will be responsible for leading transformation and service development across the Community Mental Health team and Living well system.
The post holder will develop a culture based on the Trusts values, which is centered on the achieving the best outcomes for service users, is flexible and responds positively to change, where staff feel valued and services are coordinated to improve the experience of the patient and enable staff to work to their full potential.
The post holder will be part of the Bronze On Call Manager Rota.
