The role of Laundry Assistant at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust involves managing the cleaning and distribution of laundry services across multiple hospital sites, including Aintree, Royal, and Broadgreen. Responsibilities include receiving and sorting soiled linen from various wards and departments, cleaning linen transport tubs, and ensuring timely distribution according to quality standards. This position supports the Trust, which serves a significant population in Merseyside and aims to enhance healthcare services following the merger of two major acute trusts.

General Laundry assistant working within the Laundry/Cleaning of dirty Laundry bins and if requested the distribution of Linen from the Central Linen Store. To provide a Linen service to the Aintree, Royal /Broadgreen, Walton Centre sites LUFHT. As per contract spec.
Receive and sort all foul infected linen/General Linen from wards and departments.
Clean all Dirty Linen tubs ready for distribution back to Hospital sites
