Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join their growing team in Oldham, Greater Manchester. The role involves providing person-centered care to adults and young people with long-term, life-limiting conditions within their homes. Successful candidates will engage in both clinical care and social activities, enhancing the quality of life for service users. The position offers flexible work patterns, including full-time and part-time shifts, with pay starting at £13.00 per hour.
Candidates should have at least three months of previous care experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Experience with complex care needs, such as spinal injuries and tracheostomy care, is advantageous but not essential. We are growing our team in Oldham and the surrounding areas and are seeking committed and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join us and build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
We support adults and young people with long term, life limiting conditions, providing specialist, person centered care which is tailored to their individual complex care needs.
This rewarding role offers full-time days, providing essential care to our service users within their own homes.
Our service users live with their loving families in Oldham and the surrounding areas, and each requires a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are committed to support their long term, ongoing care needs.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in not only attending to the clinical care requirements of our service users but also assisting them in enjoying activities they love, this can include extending care outside of the home.
This is a personally rewarding role where you can build on your skills and experience, whilst delivering exceptional care and support to our service users, really making an impact on their day-to-day lives.

- Suctioning
- Ventilation Management

- Epilepsy / Seizure Management*
- These can be essential requirements within some packages of care.
We have the following shifts available;
- Full Time & Part Time
- Days – Between 7:00am – 8:00pm
- Nights – Between 7:00pm – 8-00am
